This is a place where I can keep a scrapbook of sounds and pictures I've gathered, mostly in North Carolina. This blog will be music-related most of the time, but don't be surprised if I throw in something off-topic. My goal is a mix that you will enjoy.

Okay, there's some room for improvement, technically. The HUGE file size (about 14 MB) will probably be a problem for dial-up users--but hey, just let the thing load up and go have something to drink while you're waiting? (You can even download the file to your hard drive and share it with your mom. Since it's Quicktime, I think there may be a clever way to burn it to DVD? We gotta spread the word on CHEST PAINS!)
Somehow a glitch or "bump" got into the movie file right before the part where Greg reminds us the song is about "karate" and NOT something else. I'll be sure to double-check files before uploading in the FUTURE.
BTW, I was shooting with a consumer cam. Maybe I should TURN OFF the auto-focus creature whilst shooting in the DARK? On the other hand, I like the visual texture of the thing...
I invite you to enjoy the bootleg quality of it all, because it rocks out, man. -t-
BUKAKE
Nice ass.
I left the computer after clicking download and when it came on like a bomb exploding we thought someone was in trouble. Cat spooked, dog spooked, myself going to the window to determine whether or not 911 would be necessary.
Greg, you know I love the Chest Pains. But try this as an instrumental next time. Try it.
Either that or visualize Nick Drake raking leaves of grass with a root beer barrel on your tongue.

I think he says "Bukowski" -- like the beat writer Charles Bukowski?
When the light hits the band a certain way, they all look like Charles Bukowski. Or at least their breath does...
Sifu Fogg will destory you with the forbidden Mantis style if he ever hears this.
Dang. That's right.
The tune is really called STOP SIGNS.
Tell yer friends. -t-
